Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) is a softwood native to the Pacific Northwest. Our stock originates primarily from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We inventory fine grain old growth lumber and timbers. Our lumber is full sawn 8/4 (2 inches) and vertical grain. Timbers are from 4 x 4 and wider to 12 x 12 and wider. The grade is #2 clear which is an export grade and offers a minimum of characteristics. We stock our material in the rough and remanufacture finished boards, trim, sidings and ceiling treatments, trellis and gazebo members, rafter tails and outriggers. Other grades and dimensions are available by special order. FSC certified is also available.

Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) is also a softwood native to the Northwest. Our stock originates as salvage logs primarily from Oregon. We inventory fine grain old growth lumber. Our lumber is full sawn 4/4 and 8/4 (1" and 2"). We specialize in vertical grain kiln dried stock. Widths are available from 4" ≠ 12". The grade is 85/15 which means 85% B and 15% C. This high grade of Fir is suitable for finished lumber, trim, floor wall and ceiling treatments, soffits, door and window parts. We also stock kiln dried timbers in a #1 Structural appearance grade and 8/4 x 16 #1 Structural. Our FSC certified material includes 8/4 x 6 VG 85/15 and 8/4 x 16 #1 Structurual.

Jackel inventories African Mahogany in two species, Khaya ivorensis and Entandrophragma utile, also known as Sipo. Both of these woods are similar in appearance to South American species. Our stock is available in thicknesses 4/4- 16/4. Special orders are available. FSC certified material will be available in the near future. Material is available in the rough or surfaced 2 sides and straightlined 1 edge.
